Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5, 1998 from Minsk Belarus. She has been able to win twelve WTA singles championships, which includes the Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. Doubles is another area where she excels. The US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both won with Elise Mertens. The Sunshine Double was achieved by Elise and her in the year the year 2019. Together, they won WTA 1000s in Indian Wells & Miami. This feat was only achieved by four couples competing in the women's doubles. In January of 2023 she surpassed her top ranking in singles. On the 23rd of August 2021, she rose to number two in World rankings. In doubles however she pushed her way to the top at the beginning of February that year following her victory in Melbourne being the first tennis player from Belarus to be a part of this specialty. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of the 2019 season in 2018 and through the end. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from the month of August to September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach who has been with her since the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her heroes.
